 Yeats, 12 years old and very inquisitive, is posing for us as he sleeps in on a chilly fall morning!I  It must be Spring if Wayne is outside in the garden tending his flowers and checking on the production of blooms and things. A garden should bloom and make the neighborhood a place you want to visit. ***************************************************************************************************************  Dr. Burdette, in a casual moment at Ben Franklin Academy where she is Dean of Studies, has been involved with the school since its founding in 1987. She and Dr. Wood Smethurst started the school as an outgrowth of The Reading Center at Emory University. ***************************************************************************************************************  July 4th, 2004! Here Lance and Wayne are drinking "Coffee" and watching the Decatur Annual July 4th Fireworks Display. What a show! Thankfully, Lance and Diane brought some watermellon and ribs to sustain us while we dodged the multitude who watched the festivities from atop the parking deck in downtown Decatur! |
